At Rudy’s – A Cook’s Paradise, we are proud of our long and colorful history. We are the oldest continuously operating retail store in Twin Falls, and we are located in the oldest commercial building in town. Roy Eager established the business in 1904 as Eager Hardware. In 1935 Mr. Coe Price purchased the store, changed the name to Price Hardware and moved the business to its current location, which had previously been occupied by Independent Meat Market. My father, Rudy Ashenbrener, purchased the store from Mr. Price in 1946 and in 1996 my wife Megan and I became the owners.

In February of 2002 Megan and I, along with the Price Hardware staff, made the momentous decision to alter 98 years of hardware history. Our vision was to take our retail experience and our tradition of quality products and excellent customer service and transfer it to a store that specialized in kitchenware and cooking products. Our youngest son (also named Rudy) shared the vision and came up with our name “A Cook’s Paradise”. The Rudy’s part of the name is in honor of my father who was a well respected member of the Twin Falls community.

We have worked hard to create a store that is unique, exciting, and full of everything you would want for cooking and entertaining. Please stop in and share the fun and excitement of Rudy’s, where we truly are “A Cook’s Paradise.”
